Aged 17, he moved to Los Angeles to study Film & Television Production, where he worked at the Producers Guild of America and Blumhouse Productions, and specialized in film set photography, shooting influent artists like Tyga and Quavo from Migos. Aged 19, he moved to Paris and co-founded a Production and Events Planning company for the promotion of Japanese pop-culture in France, collaborating with prominent brands like PlayStation. He also worked with French hip/hop label Saboteur Records as a behind the scenes videographer and photographer, shooting respected artists Deen Burbigo, Ratu$ and Eff Gee. Aged 22, Matteo was struck by lightning with an idea that would, three years later, become his first feature film screenplay, “Butterflies Don’t Talk.” Today, Matteo keeps exploring the possibilities of visual storytelling, and is in the process of writing his second project, a novel.
